The Church of the Holy family from the tip, built between 1951-1954, is located in The Dr. Mario wood and your building integrated social policy of the State for the construction of houses and neighborhoods.

The design of the Church is the architect Joaquim Cardoso Bento de Almeida (1918-1997). Is a temple with a simple interior space of nave, separated from the chancel by a triumphal arch. The chancel is decorated by a mural by painter Dominic Rebelo (1891-1975), where the figure "Allegory to the Holy Family", mural painting with a representation of various professions in an allusion to the value of work and for this reason is an "Allegory to the Holy Family", being also an evocation of the patron saint of this church.

The set of stained glass Windows, designed by the painter Júlio Pomar (b. 1926). The iconographic program run by the painter to this church consisted of 12 stained glass distributed as follows: a circular on main facade with the "Sagrada Familia", two archangels "s. Miguel and Rafael", to the chancel, and the remaining 9 panels depicting the Saints to the body of the Church. "These artistic representations are distinguished by a melange of realism lyricism" (SILVA, 2003:12).
